In 1976, we opened our doors as Chadwick Telephone — a local telecommunications company built on relationships, reliability, and service. It wasn’t about selling equipment. It was about showing up when customers needed us. It was about earning trust, one system at a time.
As the world changed, so did we.
We watched communication move from analog to digital. We saw businesses expand beyond physical offices into data centers, then into the cloud. We witnessed cybersecurity shift from an afterthought to a mission-critical priority. Each time the industry evolved, our customers looked to us and asked, “What’s next?”
And each time, we adapted — not just to keep up, but to lead.
Over time, Chadwick Telephone became something bigger. The challenges our clients faced were no longer just about phones. They were about networks, infrastructure, security, collaboration, and long-term strategy. Technology was no longer separate systems — it was interconnected.
So we evolved into Convergent.
The name reflects what we do best: bringing technologies together, simplifying complexity, and aligning IT strategy with real business goals. But even as our services expanded — into cloud, cybersecurity, unified communications, contact center, and private infrastructure — our foundation never changed.
We are still a company built on relationships.
Many of our customers have grown alongside us for decades. Team members have built their careers here. Partnerships have strengthened over time. Through recessions, technology revolutions, and industry disruption, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to being a trusted advisor.
